Diagnosis
Count on us for dental x-rays, gum (periodontal) examinations, oral cancer screenings, evaluations for gum disease, and diagnosis of oral lesions.
Initial Therapy
Our initial gum disease therapy may include oral hygiene instructions, scaling/root planing, systemic or localized antibiotic delivery, non-surgical gum treatments, maintenance of dental implants, adjustment of occlusion and fabrication of occlusal guards.
Surgical Therapy
Another type of gum disease treatment includes surgical solutions. This includes gingival grafting for recession and augmentation, pocket reduction surgery and bone regeneration, gingival contouring surgery to improve anterior esthetics, crown lengthening surgery for crown placement, biopsy of oral lesions, surgical tooth exposure for orthodontic treatment.
Maintenance Therapy
A very important part of treatment is periodontal maintenance care following active therapy. We also welcome transfer patients in need of maintenance care and patients with dental implants.
